Land and outbuildings

The land

  • A fence made of hand-carved « men zao », the “standing stones”, typical from this part of Breton Cornwall, closes the garden on the front side of the house ( photos 1 and 2 ).
  • On the Western side of the house, a ruined down Breton cottage in hand-carved stone can be rebuilt ( photo 3 ).
  • A large glass windows runs on the Northern side of the facade. This design was adopted to provide light in a wall with very few openings ( voir le plan ci-dessus ).
  • The grounds are more than 6500 square meter large ( photo 3 ). An beaten earth parking space is located behind a hedge.
  • Nearby the road, a very large garage equipped with a tip-up door can host a car and serve as a wood and gardening tools storage ( photo 5 ).
